The white sugar sand of Siesta Key

sarasota0707-004-2
Melanie looks for a spot to start catching tan on Siesta Key, Sarasota, Florida. We spent six days here in July '07, with nothing much to do but lay in the sun and swim in the ocean. The water's warm as bathwater, even late in the evening, and the sand is fine and white as powdered sugar. Photo Friday: Vacation.

Ahhhh, now that just looks too nice! I miss hanging out around the beaches of Lake Erie. Of course, I always got burnt to a crisp.
