This ivy branch has thrust its way through a crack in the corrugated steel. I shot a lot of this picture over several days, but for some reason could never capture the deep slate gray of the wall.

On My Way to Work

This is what I see as I walk from the parking lot to my office building. The Flatirons rise so spectacularly above the mundane objects of the ordinary world that I usually don't even notice the miscellaneous cars and buildings. I just drink in the beauty of the mountains.

Here's another view, taken as I wait to cross a four-lane street. I am so lucky to work in this town.
